By creating an account, accessing, or using EduVisor, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

Information Accuracy: While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, EduVisor does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any school information displayed on the Platform.
No Endorsement: The inclusion of a school on EduVisor does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation by EduVisor. Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence when selecting schools.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Types
Parent/Guardian
For parents and guardians searching for schools
School Administrator
For authorized school representatives
General User
For anyone browsing school information
3.2 Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information, including:
- • Full name
- • Valid email address
- • Phone number
- • Password
You agree to:
- • Provide accurate information
- • Keep your password secure
- • Update information promptly
- • Accept responsibility for account activities
4. User Conduct

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

School Administrator Conduct
School administrators have additional responsibilities:
- • Provide accurate school information
- • Update information promptly when changes occur
- • Not misrepresent academic performance or facilities
- • Respond professionally to inquiries and reviews
- • Comply with education laws and regulations
- • Maintain professional communication standards
5. Reviews and User-Generated Content
5.1 Posting Reviews
Users may post reviews and ratings of schools on the Platform. By posting a review, you:
- • Grant EduVisor a license to use, display, and distribute your review
- • Represent that your review is based on genuine experience
- • Agree that your review does not contain false information
- • Understand that your review may be visible to other users
5.2 Review Guidelines
Reviews must be:
- • Honest and fair
- • Based on personal experience
- • Focused on educational quality
- • Professional and respectful
Reviews must not contain:
- • Personal attacks on individuals
- • Profanity or hate speech
- • Personal contact information
- • Discriminatory language
5.3 Review Moderation
EduVisor reserves the right to:
- • Review, edit, or remove any user-generated content
- • Verify reviewers' relationship to schools before publishing
- • Remove reviews that violate these Terms
- • Suspend accounts that repeatedly post inappropriate content
6. Intellectual Property Rights
6.1 Platform Content
All content on the Platform is protected by intellectual property laws, including:

- • Images and software
- • Data compilations
- • Trademarks and copyrights
6.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you post on the Platform, but grant us a license to:

- • Reproduce and modify as needed
- • Distribute for Platform operations
- • Promote the Platform
6.3 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of Platform content.
8. Fees and Payment
8.1 Free Services
Basic access to the EduVisor Platform is free for parents, students, and general users.
8.2 Premium Services
EduVisor may offer premium services to schools:
- • Enhanced profile visibility
- • Featured listings
- • Advanced analytics
- • Priority support
8.3 Payment Terms
- • Fees are stated in Kenyan Shillings (KES)
- • Payment is due in advance
- • We accept M-Pesa and bank transfers
- • All fees are non-refundable unless stated
- • We may change fees with 30 days' notice
- • You're responsible for applicable taxes
11. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
"As Is" Service
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. EduVisor DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
Limitation of Liability
EduVisor shall not be liable for:
- • Indirect or consequential damages
- • Loss of profits or data
- • School selection decisions
- • Unauthorized account access
School Selection
You acknowledge that:
- • School selection is your sole responsibility
- • You should verify information with schools
- • EduVisor is not responsible for admission outcomes
- • You should conduct due diligence before enrolling
Our total liability shall not exceed KES 10,000 or the amount you paid to EduVisor in the preceding 12 months, whichever is less.
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, without regard to conflict of law principles.
